Nepal's Highest Trekking Peak

Mera Peak (6,476m) is the highest of Nepal's trekking peaks. Despite its impressive altitude, it's technically straightforward — a snow climb with no technical rock or ice. From the summit, you can see five of the world's six highest mountains: Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu.

The approach through the remote Hinku Valley is an adventure in itself. This rarely-visited valley is one of the last true wilderness areas in the Khumbu, with thick forests, rushing rivers, and a profound sense of isolation.

Why Mera Peak?

Mera Peak is perfect for trekkers who want to take the next step into mountaineering. If you can trek to EBC, you can climb Mera Peak with proper preparation. The non-technical nature of the climb, combined with its impressive altitude, makes it one of the most rewarding summit experiences available to non-climbers.
