Annapurna Circuit Trek
A Journey Through Every Landscape
The Annapurna Circuit is one of the world's great long-distance treks. In 17 days, you travel from lush rice paddies and subtropical forests through alpine meadows and arid Tibetan-plateau landscapes, crossing the mighty Thorong La Pass at 5,416m.
The diversity of landscape, culture, and climate on this trek is unmatched. You pass through Hindu lowlands, Buddhist highlands, and into the rain-shadow desert of Mustang. Every day brings a completely different world.
Thorong La — The Heart of the Circuit
The crossing of Thorong La Pass is the trek's defining moment. Starting before dawn from Thorong Phedi, you climb 1,000m in the cold darkness, arriving at the prayer flag-draped pass as the sun rises over the Himalayas. The descent into Muktinath is one of the most dramatic in all of trekking.
