I have known Ang Kami as a Himalayan guide for six years. I have had the great pleasure of experiencing arduous mountaineering treks with Ang Kami on two continents. I have worked with Ang Kami on two trips in the Himalayan region. Ang Kami’s experience, both personal and professional as a high mountain climber and guide reveals his technical expertise. I first met AK on my trip to EBC and Island Peak and can honestly say that he is an amazing and skilled person. We had such a great experience with him in Nepal that a friend flew him to Argentina to climb Aconcagua with us. There is no one I would rather be on a mountain with due to both his experience and wonderful personality. Probably don’t take swimming lessons from him 😊
