EBC Three Peaks Three Passes

I have known Ang Kami as a Himalayan guide for six years. I have had the great pleasure of experiencing arduous mountaineering treks with Ang Kami on two continents. I can confidently express my complete satisfaction with Ang Kami as a serious, thoughtful, experienced, competent and caring professional. In the time I have spent with Ang Kami, he has demonstrated great effectiveness as a knowledgeable leader and climbing companion. I enthusiastically recommend Ang Kami as a mountain climbing or trekking guide.

In 2014 I completed the Everest Base Camp Trek and Ang Ka was one of our lead guides. It was a once in a lifetime experience. A decade later and despite having travelled a lot of the world and visiting 40 countries and experiencing many things, it is the trip I hold most dear and the story I love to tell. Although some days were challenging the beauty behind every turn kept us going. Nature at its very best. Ang Ka and the team kept us well, ensured we ate well and acclimatised carefully. 100% of my group made it safely to Base Camp. At night we had fun with our guides, playing games and telling stories. Hiking to Base Camp and being guided by Ang Ka who has summited Everest was really special. I loved his personal stories. If I am lucky to get back there in my lifetime I would chose and trust in Ang Ka as my guide.

I first met AK on my trip to EBC and Island Peak and can honestly say that he is an amazing and skilled person. We had such a great experience with him in Nepal that a friend flew him to Argentina to climb Aconcagua with us. There is no one I would rather be on a mountain with due to both his experience and wonderful personality. Probably don’t take swimming lessons from him 😊
